Bruce and Sheila are proverbially characteristically
Australian names. But other names seem unique to this or that English speaking
country. If you meet a Simon, you know they are from England. So too for
Penelope or Fiona. For Scotland, Sandy and Maggie. For America, names from the
Old Testament: Zeke, Sam, Beulah, Jem, and the like. Although they are fading. Harvey's an American name. For
Canada, Howie or Gord. Which may say something about the legacy of Gordie Howe.
