Martin Marches up His Personal Mountain

Martin will not step on any cracks
Which makes his gait look funny.
He also knows that he must take long strides
So that, to anyone following his footprints, he will look bigger than he is.
This should keep monsters away
But also attract princesses.

Few know, but Martin knows
There is a secret tunnel under Cote St. Luc Boulevard
Used only by fictional characters.
Martin would like to be a fictional character
And not have to go home.
Where his father intemperately
steps on all the cracks.
