Posh neighbourhood in the Philippines?

The Lower East Side Tenement Museum in New York City has a great virtual tour available online:

Visited it with my family some years ago. A great museum; but my Filipina wife was not impressed with the supposed tough conditions our immigrant ancestors faced. The apartments actually look rather spacious, and certainly held fewer people per square meter than a typical home in the Philippines today.
