The Hellfire Club

Scuttlebutt is that Amber Heard ran a prostitution ring in Hollywood. She also videotaped, and blackmailed; and this supposedly explains her hold over Elon Musk, or her own sister.

It sounds fantastic; yet we have heard similar things. What about Jeffrey Epstein—whose clients have never been revealed? What about what we know from his laptop of the life of Hunter Biden?

I suspected that Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut was actually an expose. Now I really think so. And wonder whether Kubrick died of natural causes, so soon after filming.

I think we know from Epstein’s untimely and probably imposed suicide that the people involved in these sex and blackmail rings are prepared to kill to keep their secrets, and able to kill with impunity.

The possibility that a large proportion of the rich and powerful are bound together by participation in sex cults, and vulnerability to blackmail as a result, could explain much: the way the Democratic Party seemed able to fix the nomination for Hillary Clinton in 2016, and then Biden in 2020. The way Jagmeet Singh formed a coalition with Justin Trudeau, just as Trudeau looked vulnerable to a no-confidence vote, and apparently against the interests of the NDP. The way the Canadian or Dutch governments are so committed to the goals of the WEF that they will act against the interests of their own electorate—and their own re-election. The way the social media companies are so aggressive about censoring content, although it is sure to harm their bottom line. The list goes on.

Francis Dashwood, founder of one of history's "Hellfire Clubs."

It is a conspiracy theory; but experience has informed us that some conspiracies are real.

And really, why wouldn’t it be so? In better times, ruling elites are held back only by their own code of ethics. We know that any sense of ethics or honour has been publicly eroding now for generations. There is no longer, we are told openly by those at the top, any right or wrong. It is just what you can get away with.

Take that view, and this is the inevitable result. What’s the point of having so much money and power if you can’t use it to get yourself sexual pleasures unavailable to the hoi polloi? And why wouldn't some take advantage of the possibilities for blackmail and control? For more of the money and power they have always coveted?

The good thing about conspiracies, though, is that they are vulnerable to collapse. People are not good at keeping secrets. The bigger the cabal is, and the more damaging, the more likely it is that somebody talks. If my suspicions are warranted, it is only a matter of time before it all comes out. Indeed, it is all coming out, despite obvious attempts by the legacy media and authorities to bury it. Probably soon people will hear and realize what they are hearing.

Then there can be no more blackmail. Then everybody talks. Then Jeffrey Epstein, or Stanley Kubrick, will not have died in vain.

When Amber Heard Speaks, Who Is Talking?

Amber Heard keeps educating us about narcissism.

The narcissist often betrays the truth inadvertently—demonstrating, for one thing, that they are not truly delusional. They know they are lying.

Asked by Savannah Guthrie whether she lost her defamation trial because Depp had better lawyers, Heard concedes “they were better at distracting the jury from the real issues.”

Which, if you think about it, is a backhanded admission that the job of her own lawyers was to distract the jury from the real issues.

Heard appeals more than once to the fact that she is a human being—that the jury, the general public, and those on social media must remember this and treat her with kindness.

For most people, this ought to go without saying. That Heard feels she must say it implies that she sees others as humans like herself only with some conscious effort. She sees other people as “randos.”

Some listeners might feel she failed to treat Johnny Depp with kindness or consider his feelings.

Accused of faking emotion to the jury during her testimony; of, in the words of Depp’s lawyers, “putting on the performance of a lifetime,” Heard responds, “said by the lawyer for the man who convinced the world that he had scissors for fingers.”

This is how the narcissist thinks. The narcissist lies with ease because they deny a moral difference between lying and an artistic performance. This is why, in general, they cannot appreciate either art or jokes. You simply invent your “narrative,” and declare that it is true. Were this not the way Heard habitually thinks, she would have known how bizarre this comment would sound to others.

To the narcissist, everything they do is a performance, calculated for effect. They always only play themselves.

Asked if she ever instigated violence, Heard responds “I didn’t need to.” This is an inadvertent admission that the violence was her idea. If she did not always initiate it, she always provoked it.

Asked whether she herself was violent, Heard pointed out that, faced with abuse, one’s moral sense is distorted: one cannot see right and wrong clearly “as you or I can.”

This came so close to an inadvertent admission that Heard had not been abused that it was cut out of the final version of the interview, no doubt at the insistence of her lawyers.

Why are narcissists like Heard, in the end, so bad at lying? Why do they drop such clues?

This is the operation of the conscience, and proves that we all have one. Any narcissist is at war with themself, as if they have two distinct personalities. Hence the concept of demonic possession.

Forever Amber II

Amber Heard is helpfully giving us all a master class in narcissism. Predictably, she has not gone silent or backed away after losing her court case. This illustrates the common observation that narcissists are incurable, and cannot be reasoned with; that a narcissist will never change. Heard is actually risking being sued all over again for defamation.

But a narcissist cannot let go. Failure of any kind cannot be acknowledged, or, in their own minds, all is lost. To them, it is kill or be killed.

This is why the generally recommended strategy, cutting all contact, may not work. It will not work unless you can effectively disappear from their consciousness; which is a hard thing to do, and necessarily highly disruptive to your life and livelihood. Once they have targeted you, the narcissist is likely to come after you; and to slander you to anyone they come in contact with.

The only exit for Depp is if and when the media lose interest in listening to Heard.

The incorrigibility of narcissism is no doubt why hell is understood in Christianity to be eternal. Once you have chosen self as your God, there may be no going back.

How Much Is That Doggie in the Window?

Another illustration from Amber Heard of how the narcissist scapegoats: early in her testimony, she described an incident in which Johnny Depp held his small dog out the car window while the car was moving.

This has not been corroborated by anyone else in the cart.

Now someone has found an image of Heard holding her dog out a car window.https://www.theartsofentertainment.com/breaking-video-emerges-of-amber-heard-holding-dog-out-car-window/

Some claim that narcissists have no conscience. This is not true. They know they are doing wrong, Otherwise they would not scapegoat.

Forever Amber

On the stand, Amber Heard neatly illustrates many of the tendencies of the narcissist. It is a great public service Johnny Depp has done to get her before the general public.

One is to say the opposite of the truth.

This is instinctive. If you are going to lie, it feels safest to say truth’s exact opposite. That feels like it keeps you away from danger. But in fact, this means the narcissist often gives themselves away, if you are paying attention. Just reverse valences.

An example is Heard’s claim that she concealed bruises on her face using makeup. At one point, she called this makeup a “bruise kit,” then quickly corrected herself. She had to, because there is such a thing as a “bruise kit.” Actors use it to fake bruises.

Faking bruises is far easier than concealing real ones, and any actor would be familiar with how to do so. Not so much with how to cover them. She was giving herself away.

Narcissists cannot accept blame for anything. Many have noticed this about Heard: as she tells it, she never did anything wrong throughout the relationship. Even when faced with blatant evidence to the contrary. Compare Depp, who admits to various addictions.

An inevitable further tendency of the narcissist, related to both of these, is to scapegoat. They will project their own sins onto someone else, usually a victim designated in their mind for the purpose.

Heard accuses Depp of everything she has done herself. She was abusing him, so she insists he was abusing her. She grievously injured him with a bottle, so she insists that he injured her with a bottle—and in a way she can imagine was worse. She has a reputation for destroying phones in fits of anger; so she accuses Depp of injuring himself destroying a phone.  Heard was at least as addicted a drug user as Depp; yet she insists that only he had the problem, and her constant concern was to get him off them.

I hope the public is learning. Heard is a predictable type. Too many of us are familiar with it personally.

Thar She Blows!

Several observers have pointed out that at one point during the Depp-Heard defamation trial, it looks as though Amber Heard takes a snort of cocaine while on the stand. She buries her nose only partially in a handkerchief, holds one nostril closed, then removes the handkerchief and wipes her nose with her hand.

I think it is just what it looks like.

Heard also, one day, after testifying, and instructed by the judge to return to her seat with her lawyers, instead walked out of the courtroom.

Some narcissists will deliberately engage in “reckless behavior.” We see here an example. This is to show their contempt for those around them. It declares their superiority.

This may be a sign Heard expects to lose the case. So she must show her contempt. Narcissists tend to do this only when they feel vulnerable.

Why did Heard torture Depp?

First, out of envy. In order to be the centre of attention, the narcissist must pull down anyone else getting attention. They must destroy all that is noble, fine, and beautiful.

Second, Heard also tortured Depp for enjoyment. Narcissists like making people feel bad, and feed, vampire-like, off the emotion. It is an exercise in power and control.

The Triel of the Century?

Apparently, everyone is glued to the Depp-Heard defamation trial. Polls show more interest in it than in COVID, or inflation, or Ukraine.

Normally, I do not follow celebrity gossip. I believe celebrities have the same right to privacy as the rest of us. Gossip is gossip.

But this is different; this has overwhelming redeeming social importance. Amber Heard is a textbook narcissist, as all true narcissists are textbook narcissists, almost interchangeable in their behaviour. I have hopes that now, for the first time, the general public will have clear idea of what a narcissist is like. And it looks like a large majority of the public gets it now, as they see it unfold on the stand.

We may be past nonsense notions like calling Donald Trump a narcissist. Narcissism is not mere self-confidence.

We will perhaps also be past the destructive and madly prejudiced notion that only men abuse, or that we should “believe all women.”

We see that Heard has no morals whatsoever. There are, it seems to me, no degrees of narcissism, or, to use its proper name, viciousness. That is a switch set either on or off. You can’t get worse than no morals.  If an individual turns the switch, which they do willfully, there is nothing any longer to appeal to in them; there is no spark left of humanity.

This is why there must be a hell.

Three Black Eyes

The makeup artist who prepared Amber Heard to appear on the James Cordon show testifies that she had no bruises. Nevertheless, after the taping, Heard turned to the makeup artist and remarked, “can you believe I did that show with two black eyes?”

This is what gaslighting looks like. This is a classic example of narcissism. Heard told a blatant lie, even though the only person she was speaking to had to know it was a lie.

Growing up with or living with a narcissist, one experiences this constantly, and the result is a growing inability to tell what is real from what is not, that leads to much of what we call mental illness. But in the end it is the narcissist who is truly mad; over time they drive others around them mad.

The narcissist is able to say such things with full evident sincerity, because they have no objective understanding of truth. This is why Fleiss called them “ambulatory psychotics.” What is true is whatever they want to be true. Other people are simply required to believe whatever they tell them.

Of course, they also know that they are lying. That is why Heard was obliged to make the absurd remark to the makeup artist. Their claims must be affirmed by those around them. Any possible dissent must be challenged.

If they believed they were saying the truth, this would not matter.

It is a trick similar to the trick we all play on ourselves when watching a movie, or reading a book. We know that the story is fiction, but it is enjoyable to believe it, and so we willingly suspend disbelief.

The narcissist does this with their own life, constantly, and with the world around them. Everything must be what they want it to be.

This is what one expects, being a god.

Heard Testifies

When Amber Heard is expressing sorrow, or pretending sorrow, she grimaces. She looks angry, not sad. This is a giveaway for a narcissistic personality. When a narcissist feels bad, whatever the reason, they express it as anger instead of sorrow. They lash out. I suspect Heard cannot conceal this—although she is feigning any emotion, to her own mind, looking angry is looking sad.

Her testimony is also sentimental. “I can only hope…” That sort of thing. Some say she is a bad actor; what I hear is a bad screenwriter. Not just obviously rehearsed, but intended to manipulate, to jerk tears.

As Jung said, “sentimentality is a superstructure concealing brutality,” or words to that effect.

Whatever general claims she makes about Depp are most likely true of Heard. Indeed, they do seem to mirror what he said about her, although by itself this shown only that one of them is a narcissist, not which one. The usual narcissistic M.O. is to accuse the victim of exactly what they have done themselves. It reveals, in a backhanded way, that they know what they are doing and know it is wrong.

I use the term “narcissism” for ease of understanding. The strictly proper term is “vicious.” “Bad person” would do.

Amber See, Amber Do

Many are noticing that Amber Heard keeps mimicking Johnny Depp’s clothing choices in their current defamation trial. And many are wondering why. Is she playing some kind of mind game?

No; why would Depp care?

We owe a debt to Depp for bringing this to trial. He has exposed the fact that women abuse men. Our system is grotesquely biased against men, to the extent that it is actually a commonly held opinion that men are always abusers, and women always victims. An opinion that enables abuse. This public trial, along with recent and increasing revelations about Jada ad Will Smith, may help redress that balance.

Amber’s clothing choices are not hard to decipher if you know much about narcissists.

Depositions show that she used to commonly criticize Depp for lacking style.

If her own actions in mimicking him do not disprove this, any objective observer should see the absurdity of the charge. Nobody has more sartorial style than Depp.

Narcissists are motivated by envy. They must be the centre of everything; so nobody is allowed to be better than them at anything. Therefore they will criticize their victim for whatever in the latter is most admirable; they will want to deny it.

At the same time, they will mimic it, in hopes of appropriating thunder; of making themselves the centre of attention instead. People were looking at Depp; she wanted them to look at her.

Narcissists are not complicated. They are childishly simple in their thinking. A good rule is that whatever they say will be the opposite of the truth.

There is a special place in hell for those who, in the face of the evidence, still insist that, if Depp was not the abuser, at least it was a mutually abusive relationship. After all, Depp drank and took drugs. He opened and shut cabinet doors loudly in her presence. He tried to cut himself. He even wrote to a friend that he wanted to drown Amber, set her on fire, and have sex with the corpse.

None of that is abusive. It simply shows the depth of his pain; which he needed to vent or escape without harming her or anyone else. Anyone who does not see this, is a narcissist themselves. For they are apparently incapable of seeing another as human.

Will Smith’s slap at the Oscars is similar, although less admirable. Unable to defend against his narcissistic wife, in a fit of terror and confusion, he misdirected at what seemed a more acceptable target. If he could keep Jada in good humour, she might not lash out at him. In effect, he was taking it out on himself, attempting career suicide.

In the wider society, men are committing suicide in large numbers, and dying of drug overdoses.

It is time to end the persecution.
