The latest polls, coming out after Romney's supposed "gaffe" regarding the Cairo Embassy's apology, show his numbers up. This suggests to me that I was right: the public is too sophisticated any longer, in this Internet age, to be influenced by media spin. If I read the polls correctly, correcting for any apparent over-sampling of Democrats, they are really all showing Romney and Obama in a dead heat now nation-wide; with the trend in Romney's direction.
