Well spotted, An. You are exactly right. That's the smoke detector saying it is low on battery. And no, I have not changed it yet. Crazy situation. The only thing I can stand on to get high enough to change it is a chair with wheels. My balance is so bad I do not think it is safe to try. So the cursed thing just keep chirping away.
